No yoga experience necessary as this class is focused on baby, newborn to pre-crawler.
Adult and baby will spend time together learning ways to bond and play, as baby is gently guided through simple yoga postures, each specifically designed to aid in his/her natural development. Among the many benefits, yoga for babies can:
encourage better sleep
help to relieve fussiness
promote neuromuscular development
aid in digestion
increase body awareness
reduce stress and anxiety, and so much more.
Class time will be given to meet and mingle with other parents and care-providers in the community, share and ask questions, and maybe make a new friend or two, while introducing the gift of yoga to your own precious gift. There will be a short time devoted to a few simple and gentle stretches and postures focused on the adult.
